Seasonal Rituals

As I always say, there are always captivating, dramatic stories playing out right in front of us throughout Creation. Here, a bull elk wards off a nearby foe with a bugle that resonates throughout the hole as his haram feeds below. However, as we can see in the background, autumn is quickly coming to an end with the snow line steadily moving lower and lower on the Tetons towards the valley floor.
