Willow March

On a warmly-lit autumn morning, I was scouting the willows, attempting to gain a perspective of a clearing where I thought an elk and his harem would emerge. Instead, I was treated to this beautiful and majestic bull moose. The lifting fog provided a soft backdrop for an unexpected sight. Not just because I was searching for elk, but because I hadn't seen a moose in this location in over twenty years.
