Rainforest Reach

This spider monkey is reminiscent of “Air Jordan” as it reaches across a chasm of foliage in the canopy of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula rainforest.  “I spent a week observing these spider monkeys, and I failed to even come close to being able to predict and anticipate their movements through the dense jungle. They not only have prehensile tails, but their command of these tails allows them to move in ways our minds have a difficult time grasping and understanding.  “However, no matter how complex and tangential their movements with these tails may be, sometimes they simply jump or reach in much more relatable ways, as this male is doing while attempting a seemingly impossible jump.”
