Albert Neumeister Sauvignon Blanc Steirische Klassik 2017

A green tainted Austrian Sauvignon Blanc with rich tropical aromas. The mouth is slightly unctuous and the acidity is well present. A well made wine. Great nose of elderflower and a little spice/pepper. A nice blend of different age vines Clear green. Nose of high complexity and atypical of Sauvignon Blanc; sea salt and balanced minerality. Green olives and pink peppercorn. Hint of nettle and black currants. Palette of craneberry, minerals, yellow apple, green herbs. Ripe acidity, but balanced and concentrated fruit. Hint of red paprika. Moderate finish. A totally wild Sauvignon Blanc! Truly complex and worth tasting.
