The yoke is lushly embroidered with bird and flower motif. The neck, sleeves, and hem are finished with a crocheted edging in black. Perfect for an evening event, or casual afternoon outing. Can be worn loose, or with a belt or sash. Chiapas dresses are hand-made by the local Maya women artisans in Chiapas, located in southern Mexico. Though fashioned in a contemporary style, these dresses include embroidered designs rooted in local history and mythology, linking deep cultural traditions to the modern world.
