Writing is My Superpower Box

Writing is more than essays and stories. Some of the best writing is found in the slogans we see on billboards and cereal boxes. This writer’s box invites your children to collect slogans and write their own. It’s almost like writing a one-line poem and can be a good break from long-form writing. There’s also a playful invitation to write a superhero story. This box encourages children to do a lot of out-loud storytelling before they write it down. Talking it out is an excellent pre-writing strategy to make writing easier!
