Antique Turkish Large Hemp Swirl Pillow Cover II

INFORMATION Beautiful custom pillow cover made from made an antique off-white handwoven hemp rug, reclaimed and cleaned to a soft nubby texture, designed with a swirling black line pattern sewed on the front. This authentic, vintage Turkish kilim rug was handwoven in the 1970s. The back is made of cotton with a hidden zipper closure. Pillow insert not included. Made in Turkey.  STORY  Using century's old handcrafting techniques, the rugs have been skillfully hand woven by rural Turkish women using hand-spun hemp by skilled weavers in their own homes. These kilims have been given new life and made into pillows. Each piece has a special story woven into the beautiful patterns.
