This model builds on the tradition of our classic Maestro series, introduced circa 2003. The Xezo Maestro Sea Shell 18K gold-plated fountain pen series is produced in limited editions. Each luxury pen is individually serialized and unique. The medium-fine nib (0.45mm writing stroke) is gold-plated stainless steel with a finely etched leaf pattern in silver. The overall design concept of these pens draws from the Art Nouveau style, highlighting the natural beauty found in the colors and shapes of real sea shells. These pens are handcrafted and feature a uniquely developed, intensive technique of applying the sea shell panels on the solid brass round body of the pen. Once the shell is perfected , it is cured in layers of clear reisin and then hand-polished to a shine, ensuring the precious iridescence of the natural sea shell is preserved and durable.
