Artist Reflections Just after our wedding, my wife and I traveled through the north of Israel together, where I captured this sunset over the town of Birya and hills of Meron. Even though we had each traveled through Israel many times before, our first trip as a married couple felt different. Our worlds united and I began to taste what our sages meant when referring to the land of Israel as the metaphorical wife of the Jewish people. It was this experience that would ultimately inspire us to continue to travel the Land together and photograph her beauty to share with the world.
