1930s Qilan Wuyi Rock Oolong

Chinese Wuyi Qilan rock oolong from the 1930s Almost a century ago this tea was being made in China, and after what seems like many lifetimes it arrives to our cups.  Over the years I have been studying/imbibing teas from the previous century with peers in the tea industry in Taiwan.  Inspirations come from this bygone era, a kind of experience of the land itself, the plant varieties, and the hands that process the tea, all opportunities to learn something if you can.  So, I wanted to share this joy and unique learning experience with all of you.  Dense and smooth, robust yet beyond what we might think of as tea.  A taste of tea history.  You can steep it multiple times and then boil for a while and see/taste.    15 gram packs - 7.5 grams pre packaged into tea bags due to material size.
