Jacques Boissenot, who consulted for four of Bordeaux's first growths over 50 years, has greatly influenced its success. This wine is remarkably balanced, with elegant tannins and a long, refreshing finish. A traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, it is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 33% of which are new. Les Vimières can be aged for up to 15 years, making it a rare gem fit for any cellar.
