A rare and paradoxical wine: it is, very unusually, made from 100% Merlot in Margaux (!) and yet contains the soul and balance of Bordeaux in the most beautiful way. The 70-year-old vines, meticulously cared for during the growing season, produce a concentrated wine, but Eric Boissenot is always careful to maintain the equilibrium that is the hallmark of classic Bordeaux.
