Vibrant, swirling colors create a whimsical forest scene with tall trees and a lush ground peppered with flowers. A woman in an indigo gown with a spring-green cape glides through a woodland, her hands in prayer. The yodama (tree spirits) peek out from the trees as butterflies dance in the air. This contemporary fantasy landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. This painting will hang just fine on a nail.
