Joanie loves Cha Qi! Front loaded bitterness and long lingering sweetness from a young sheng produced in the Lincang District village of Bing Dao. Good quality pick, mostly one leaf and bud (termed gongting), produced in early 2023. Bing Dao (a.k.a. Iceland) is a group of villages on the eastern slope of Da Xue Shan near Lincang City. The growers and factories there produce some of the most famous and well-regarded teas in the Mengku pu-er region.
