Azure Bandana

This silk bandana is multi-functional and can be worn as a mask, head scarf, neck tie, around the wrist, in your back pocket, tied around a bag, decoration, etc!  Azure is a special textile made by an indigenous Chinese ethnic group ~ the Dong people ~ in Guizhou, China. The Dong grow and weave their own cotton, dye it with Indigo and a vegetable yam called Shu Liang, coat it in egg whites, and beat it with mallets. This is why this textile has a leather-like sheen, though it is 100% cotton. This is a very exclusive textile that is soft, durable, and will age beautifully.
