Jasmine Qi Pao Dress

The Queen of Qi Paos, 旗袍! Also known as a Cheongsam 长衫, this is a style of Chinese dress popularized in the 1920s and '40s by socialites and high society women in Shanghai. It's a tailored, figure skimming design that accentuates curves and embodies femininity. In our take on the dress, we lengthened the sleeves (cap sleeves are just a no), added a side pocket (!), and loosened the fit for a more flattering and modern spin on a legendary classic.  This dress is a champion of details.  100% hand dyed xiang yun sha silk The Jasmine print is a lightweight, buttery silk Silk Pankou knot closures throughout with hand detailing Jade stone buttons Side pocket Slits on both side seams Hidden back zipper  Runs large.
