Early American Antique Bassinet Cradle Quilt Two Sided Patterns 19th Century 29" x 35"

  Product Description:  Display this wonderful Early American bassinet quilt  from the 1800’s, possibly Civil War period. This reversible patchwork quilt is hand-pieced and sewn with colors and early patterns from this time period. One side consists of thirty 5 ¼” to 5 ¾” blocks with 1” red inner blocks which add a pop of color. The opposite side is also made using a block pattern, although a variety of size patches were used, mostly 5 ½” – 6 ¼” with a few smaller and irregular. Warm brown tones with rusty orange-reds and two blocks of light, blue-green make this a wonderful early bassinet quilt from the earlier years.
