Red Rose Oolong
Country of Origin: China, India, Sri Lanka, & Egypt Notes: This blend was made by our tea blender in honor of, and to evoke the character and spirit of a fine French rosé. To achieve this the blend incorporates a mélange of tea and petals. Drink it hot or iced and sit back and let yourself be transported to France's Loire Valley, sitting beside a vineyard in a Chateau. The tea leaves are from China and Sri Lanka, from regions of the Fujian Province, Hunan Province and Uva Provinces. They are semi fermented in a traditional process and come together to bring you this delicious tasting tea with red currant like astringency followed with notes of light citrus giving this infusion a light pink color. Red Rose Oolong pairing: Serve with some charcuterie as you would a nice wine. In the same way that wine can be used as a palette cleanser between bites you can use this wine inspired tea.
