“Your skin smells lovely like sandalwood Your hair falls soft like animals And nothing else matters To me And she can't tell me that All of the love songs have been written 'Cause she's never been in love With you before, in love with you before” The scent for the season is named after the goddess of love and beauty herself, Aphrodite. It starts with Rose, tempered by a healthy amount of Sandalwood. And this song was running through my head the whole time I was creating it. Rose is a classic for a reason. It brings its powerful love energy to all of your magick and greets you from the start. Sandalwood adds a grounding energy to the perfume that lingers. Treasured for millennia and used by the Egyptians during their sacred rites, Sandalwood is said to bring you closer to the Divine. It has been traditionally used for great moments of transformation. Frankincense and Patchouli round out the scent with a dash of the holy and wild. Frankincense brings us into a profound state of calm
