Lavender Hydrosol

Lavender Hydrosol! You all saw my hydrosol-making setup a while back. This light and lovely hydrosol has the lingering fragrance of relaxing and soothing Lavender blooms. Lavender is a member of the Mint family, lending to its use during Lughnasadh, as Mint is often celebrated this time of year for abundance-attracting magical workings. I also really connect with Lavender during this season as a grassy type plant that reminds me of fields to harvest. Not only is Lavender notorious for its calming influence on your nerves, it has also been used for centuries in Europe to protect against negative influences. Even Culpeper suggested it “for all the griefs of the head”. Hydrosols hold similar benefits as the plant. This steam-distilled incarnation allows it to be used in new and fun ways.
