This color is then carried into the 10" center or focal section by combining it with various values of blue, white and silver seed beads. For an additional pop of color two gold toned large-hole beads bookend this focal section. This necklace was created by combining two Japanese braiding techniques - Edo Yatsu Gumi and Kongo Gumi. A brass toned acrylic magnetic end cap will keep this secure around your neck. The necklace then exhibits two characteristics - the ends woven one bead at a time for a tight spiral, and the center weaving the cords as beads called Continuous Beaded Braiding (beads as fiber) for a looser relaxed look and feel.
