This Eagle Very Rare Bourbon has been matured for 20 years, twice as long as the popular Eagle rare, which is aged for only Ten years. This smooth and magnificent bourbon was crafted from Mash Bill #1, like other great spirits such as Buffalo Trace, E.H. Taylor, and George T. Stagg. It is a sour mash of corn, rye, and malted barley, which has a lower content of rye, than mash bill #2. It is rich and silky with bright notes of dark fruity notes, with creamy caramel. The palate has complex notes of dark chocolate and smoked oak.
