Lady Bugs & Leaves Sake Cup #12 (5 oz)

Hand painted Sake Cup in lady bugs & leaves Details: ~ Measures: apx. 2 1/2  inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide at the rim ~ Capacity: holds 5 oz  ~ Clear glaze ~ Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe ~ English Porcelain clay   My process: I use the potter's wheel to create this mug. I generally make the body of the mug one day, trim the bottom foot the next day. I then let it dry completely and then paint lady bugs and leaves on the outside and apply a red slip to the inside. I started painting this design more than 12 years ago and it has evolved this year. A clear glaze finishes the mug on the inside and outside. Fired in an electric oxidation kiln.
