CIRCA 1989 SHEAFFER TARGA CLASSIC MEDICI DIAMOND PATTERN FOUNTAIN PEN MINT

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen, Model 683, in the 23K Gold Electroplate Medici Diamond pattern. The pen has been dipped in ink before but is considered in Mint Condition. This fountain pen was part of a purchase from a Stationary Store in Georgia where I acquired nearly 25 New Old Stock Fountain and Ballpoint Pens in the Targa design - this is just one of them. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen and is model number 683 with production beginning in 1989 till 1994. This Sheaffer Targa displays a gold plated finish in what is known as the Medici Diamond pattern which is engine-turned brass with a diamond pattern filled with black lacquer highlighted with 23-carat gold electroplated trim.
