This antique English knife rest measures 3 inches long by 1 inch high and dates from the late victorian period, 1890-1910. The silver plated knife rest has an interesting shape that looks like jack ends, a bath tap , Xs or the Cingular Wireless sign with a central bar liked a turned baluster.
