ASV RT135 Track Bogie Wheel Axle Repair

The ASV 135 undercarriage is prone to snapping the bogie idler mounts at the track frame.  This kit slides a solid 4140 steel shaft into the tubing and allows the end user to weld in a solid repair. Begin the repair by removing both factory mounts from the track frame and grinding them for a full penetration weld to the new shaft. The shaft ends are tapped 3/4-10 and grade 8 bolts are included with hardened washers.    Every piece of tubing has a large range of dimensional tolerance, so the end user will need to clearance the shaft for a press fit into the factory square tubing.  The factory weld seam may also need to be clearanced.  The outer plates of the mounts will need a 3/4" hole drilled on center.   Confirm the outer plates have 15 1/16" distance between them once welded.
