CalFire Dozer Window Screen Brackets

Modified Hinge, Latch, Filler Panel Brackets and Stays for 2023 CalFire D5 Dozers originally built and modified by Holt of California. THESE WILL NOT FIT ANY OTHER APPLICATION This bolt on kit will bring the side window screens out to the edge of the canopy structure.  This allows brush and debris to slide past without inflicting damage to the A/C protection or other protruding assemblies.  It also allows smaller debris to fall out the bottom of the window screen which extends cleaning intervals.   The pieces are built from 1/4" P&O steel with a combination of TIG and MIG welding processes.  Heavy wall DOM tubing is used for the hinges and 3/8" CR bar for the stay.  All components bolt onto the existing screen and cab mounts.  Reuse the rubber bumpers, stay grommet, hinge bolts, latch striker, and cab mounting bolts.  Substitute grade 10.9 hardware provided where necessary due to the modified design.  Mounting holes are slotted to allow a wide range of adjustment due to the manufac
