Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2000 BC. A standing striding male figure from a model with moveable articulated arms, bald pate, nude upper body and wearing kilt. Overall some white pigment for skin tone and kilt, and some black on hair remains. Size: 7-1/4 inches H. + custom mount. Condition: Missing lower legs, wear and losses; abrasions. Provenance Ex MacMurray College, Jacksonville, Illinois, originally collected by a professor, Dr Wallace M Sterns, in the 1930s. He was a member of the Egyptian Exploration fund in 1914.
