Roman Green Glass Twin Handle Flask

Eastern Mediterranean; Ca. 1st - 2nd century A.D. Blown green glass amphoriskos or flask, having a disc form body, tapered cylindrical long neck with two applied glass rings and opposing handles. Overall scattered areas of silvery iridescent surface patina. Intact, excellent condition. A scarce type.Size:    5-7/8”H. x 3-3/8”W. + custom base.Provenance:  Ex CT estate; acquired from Herbert Cahn International Gallery, ex.
