"Breaking Waves"

The Artist: Miles Tewson (London, UK) Born and raised in Boston, artist and graphic designer Eric Lee always knew he wanted to move to New York, and it’s no surprise. Eric’s tireless creative energy fits perfectly within the bustle of his adopted home of Brooklyn, and you’d be hard-pressed  to find something about the city he doesn’t love (seriously, he even created a playing card series celebrating the rats, pigeons, cockroaches, and bodega cats that call the city home). In Eric’s words, “New York is just so visually stimulating, no matter what you’re looking at.” He told us that he is constantly fascinated by the unheralded, day-to-day, block-to-block minutiae of New York, and uses that as inspiration to fuel his almost endless list of creative pursuits.
