18TH CENTURY MAHOGANIZED FOUR POSTER SALEM TESTER BEDBay Colony Antiques is honored to offer you this outstanding 18th century Salem Massachusetts tall four poster tester canopy bed. It has well defined & identifying with bell flower carved posts further defined by rope carvings. This is standard 3/4" bed with its original rails & pine scrolled headboard. It is an ideal and perfect bed to easily convert to queen or king sizes. We wanted to offer this first to the purists who want it left alone. We can easliy addapt this to full sized with custom bedding as it was when we obtained it. Should you desire its conversion in size just let us know and we will discuss this option with our woodworker. It would only require a new headboard cut and extensions of the rails.
