The chair is crafted from the absolute best grades of tiger & birds eye maple with very desirable bold grain patterns. The front legs & rear stiles feature horizontal running tiger maple with the grain on the seat rail & curved stretcher deliberately running perpendicular. The splat and crest are well formed with good use of negative space and again, an exceptional wood stock used.
