Chinese Bixie Carved Jade Pale Green Ornament Late Qing/Republic

An old Chinese jade of a mythical Bixie figure with well-rounded carving and a nice hand polished finish.   The jade has nice translucent pale green color, a few inclusions, and a reddish skin on a paw, It is a wonderful size for holding in the hand. The carving is deep and well rounded.   MEASUREMENTS   1 ¾” (4.4cm) long x ½” (1.3 cm) wide x 1” (2.5 cm) tall. Weighs 1.0 oz (25 g)   CONDITION   There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repairs. The finish is soft and not shiny.   A great jade for holding in your hand or add it to your antique jade collection.
