Chinese Jade Toggle Ingot Pale Celadon Late Qing/Republic

A jade toggle in the shape of an ingot of precious metal. The color is a pale celadon green.   The color is very even with no inclusions. The base is flat and shows wear from movement on a surface. The polish is hand done and not by a machine. It has a soft hazy look to the finish.   There are two Chinese characters carved on one side. One is the character for jade but I couldn’t identify the other.   MEASUREMENTS   2” (5.1 cm) long x 7/8” (2.2 cm) wide x 1 3/8” (3.4 cm) tall. Weighs 2.0 oz (58 g)   CONDITION   There are no breaks, chips, or cracks.   This toggle feels good when held. I love the hand polished finish.
