The Fast and The Butter-dish

with Gracie Fossett  they/them Saturday, September 27, 10am-3pmProspect Heights Ever looked at your butter dish and thought, “Too slow, too regulated?” In this sculptural and functional handbuilding workshop, participants will learn the skills necessary to create a butter-dish in the shape of a car/truck/motorcycle/vehicle from the garage of their imagination. Gracie will provide in-depth demonstrations on how to handbuild a strong, functioning butter dish from grill to tailpipe. This functional form holds a wide array of exciting opportunities: finally owning that classic car you always wanted, a gift for a loved one of their favorite car immortalized to hold butter, a chance to experiment at moding out the vehicle of your dreams. The workshop is open to all skill levels but experience with one previous handbuilding class will be helpful.
