100000 BTR-50
100000 BTR-50 The Soviet BTR-50 was an amphibious armored personnel carrier developed in the early 1950s to give motorized rifle units a reliable, highly mobile troop transport that could keep pace with emerging armored formations. Based on the PT-76 light tank chassis, it featured fully amphibious capability, low ground pressure, and room for up to 20 infantry depending on configuration, making it especially useful for river-crossing and marshy terrain operations. Though lightly armored and lacking a turreted weapon, the BTR-50 remained in long service across the Warsaw Pact and the developing world, valued for its durability, simplicity, and ability to move troops and equipment where wheeled vehicles struggled.
