100200 PT-76B
100200 PT-76B The PT-76B was the improved variant of the Soviet Union’s amphibious light tank, designed to give reconnaissance and naval infantry units a highly mobile, water-capable armored platform. Introduced in the late 1950s, the B model featured enhanced flotation, upgraded fire control elements, and a refined 76 mm D-56TS main gun with a stabilizer for better accuracy on the move. Though lightly armored, its ability to swim across rivers, marshes, and coastal waters made it invaluable for rapid maneuver operations and reconnaissance missions. The PT-76B went on to serve widely within the Warsaw Pact and abroad, becoming one of the most recognizable amphibious tanks of the Cold War era.
