The Tale of Two Sisters The Philippines and Mexico share a rich history and cultural connection that inspired the creation of this unique coffee blend. The Manila-Acapulco Galleon trade (1565-1815) served as a vital link between these two countries for over 250 years, fostering an exchange of goods, ideas, and people. From Mexico, we've selected beans in the highlands of Chiapas which are naturally shaded by a lush forest canopy grown in nutritious soil. These beans are known for their medium body, delicate acidity, and notes of chocolate and nutmeg.From the Philippines, we've chosen Barako beans that are grown in the Southern Luzon region of Batangas. Considered endangered, these Liberica beans are prized for their full body, rich aroma, notes of roasted nuts with hints of jackfruit finish.
