Organic Brazil Matas de Minas Dutra comes to us from our friends at Royal Coffee in Emeryville, CA. Grown in the mountainous Minas Gerais region of southwestern Brazil, this naturally processed coffee comes from the estate of the Dutra family, a farming operation with 50 years of experience growing coffee. On the cupping table, the coffee impressed us with a delicious profile of milk chocolate and almond, paired with a wonderfully round body and smoothly textured finish. A classic example of why we love Brazilian naturals, this medium roast is extremely versatile, and excels in a wide variety of brewing methods, particularly filtered drip, French press, and espresso.
