This stunning large jar is not definitely identified, but likely from Mashiko, featuring a nuka (rice husk ash) glaze over a kaki glaze, and kaki glaze inside the foot ring. Mid 20th Century. Expertly thrown large body, and trimmed around the neck and foot. It would lovely holding a large flower or branch arrangement, or as a stand-alone beautiful object.
