The Featherweight Series was developed to answer the need for a lighter weight drum intended primarily for the upright holding position.  We’ve made the shells thinner ( 1/4″ thick) than our classic Cooperman tars ( 5/16th” thick) , but kept the depth at 4″ to give the drum a little added punch. The shells are a single-ply of steam bent Ash, stained a medium-dark color. These drums are Available with your choice of head material – Remo® Ebony for a darker timbre and mid-range, or Remo® Renaissance for an articulate drum with more complex overtones.  CLICK HERE TO ADD A DRUM BAG PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION Cooperman drums are crafted in small batches.
