*** $300 is the DEPOSIT for a 1/2 BEEF*** A whole beef will finish LIVE around 1,250+ lbs. The day your beef is processed, there will be a hanging weight (typically 800+ lbs). You will pay $4.25/lb for HALF of the hanging weight. For example: 800lbs Hanging Weight x $4.25/lb x 1/2 beef = $1,700 to purchase the beef   PLEASE NOTE: processing fees are not included in this price. We work with several processors, and they're all priced differently. A good estimate for processing is $1/lb of hanging weight    WHAT IS THE ESTIMATED TOTAL COST FOR A 1/2 BEEF INCLUDING PROCESSING? $2,100+   HOW MUCH BEEF WILL I TAKE HOME? Every animal yields differently, but typically 60% of the hanging weight...This means you take home 225+ LBS of beef!   We process several Beef monthly.
