Invader - Versailles The work by the street artist Invader, Versailles is a limited-edition screenprint in colors on wove paper made in 2018. It recalls the mosaic technique that characterizes the artist's urban interventions: from the first installation in 1998 in Paris until now, he has “invaded” more than 60 cities all over the world with the unmistakable aliens of the arcade videogame Space Invaders. Symbol of a generation and of the rise of digital technologies in the 1980s, Space Invaders is the artist’s main source of inspiration. His interventions have thus been able to alter the urban environment with icons of the youngest generations, making Invader, artist among the most requested, one of the most appreciated street artists of our time. The screenprint is part of a series of works created with the “invasion” of Versailles. The French street artist placed his iconic mosaics in strategic points of the city: the works’ subjects linked the aliens, artist's trademark, to the imag
