Beautiful spikes of bell shape flowers bloom from spring through mid-summer and the smell is wonderful! This plant attracts hummingbirds and is truly striking in full sun conditions. Dark (sometimes lime) green giant spears are bordered with slight filaments. This form of Yucca holds extreme cold hardiness and is truly impressive eventually reaching heights of 15 to 20+ feet, rarely forming multiple heads depending on climate conditions. It is a moderate to fast grower, and has performed incredibly well in our cold high desert climate in central Oregon! These particular yuccas are hardy to at least USDA zone 6, and parent plants have seen temperatures well below -12F. We suspect this yucca is hardy to at least zone 5b and can take temps all the way down to -20F or more! These particular plants were grown from
