Kemtec™ Robbery at Anytown Mall Classroom Kit

This hands-on CSI activity allows students to solve a crime by analyzing various types of trace evidence, including hair, fiber, fabric, blood, fingerprints, and handwriting. Through observation, experimentation, and interpretation, students will apply the scientific method to deduce the culprit. Personal profiles and evidence will intermingle to enable students to crack the case using deductive reasoning. The kit includes an instructional manual and reproducible student worksheets. Additional equipment required, but not included: microscopes, water bath, and glass test tubes with stoppers or caps. This kit is designed for 24 students working in six groups of four and meets national standards for grade levels 7-11.
