This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) with Bocote (Cordia elaeagnoides) cap. Vera is a very fine wood (also known as Argentine Lignum Vitae) with a nice green patina. Beside the fact that it is one of the heaviest and hardest wood, I like this special timber for it's unusual color. Couple with the beautifully figured Bocote for contrast, this acorn is a beauty.A nice box for your valuables.
