Located on a plateau 800 meters above Toledo, Bodegas Pinuaga was first established in 1960 and is now run by second and third generation winemakers Valentin and Esther Pinuaga. Esther is the co-founder and long-time President of the Spanish Association of Organic Winemakers, a reflection of her family’s dedication to Spain’s organic farming movement! 60% Grenache and 40% Tempranillo (called Cencibel in the La Mancha region), this medium bodied red is fresh and lively, with ample notes of juicy red fruits and brambly berries. A delicate acidity and silky tannins give the wine enough structure to hold up to any number of fun food pairings. We love it with a bit of a chill! Food Ideas: Spanish tortilla, spicy bulgogi bao, meatloaf burger, garlic shrimp in tomato sauce, chicken yakitori, lamb kofta with mint yogurt sauce ABV: 13%
