1915 Vega Tubaphone

A wonderful sounding old Vega! We aren't exactly sure how much of this banjo is original and what has been replaced over the years. The dowel rod numbers date to 1915 and the pot numbers date to 1905. If the neck is a replacement it is a very, very old replacement. Structurally the banjo is in incredible shape and considering its age, looks very beautiful. Most important, the banjo sounds phenomenal with a beautiful richness and a crisp, articulate voice. It is set up and plays easily in all positions with no issues. A sliding 5th string capo is installed on the neck. Comes with a padded gig bag.
