1810 Small Sterling Silver Snuff Box By Joseph Willmore Birmingham England

Description: Antique 1810 Sterling Silver Snuff Box or snuffbox from Birmingham England. This Georgian snuff box has the Maker's Mark for Joseph Willmore, a well known silversmiths inn Birmingham at that time. The piece is relatively small size and its exterior is undecorated. The piece is shiny and is not monogrammed. The piece has a hinged lid with the front of the lid having a small extension past the side to allow for opening the lid (not quite a thumb piece). The inside of the box has a nice gold wash and retains most of its original luster. The box has a hinged lid and is fully hallmarked on the inside of the box and the back of the lid. Just a great and wonderful antique that very seldom comes by in such good condition. It is in very good condition after being around for over 200 years.
