1881 Morgan Silver Dollar Philadelphia Mint Lustrous with Hallow Toning MS 63
Description: Silver 1881 mint state uncirculated Morgan Dollar from the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being Mint State 63 and is encapsulated in a slab. The coin itself is better than the photos suggest and quite a bit of its original mint luster and also light golden hallow toning along the edge of both sides. The coin shows all the details with no wear commensurate with its uncirculated mint state. On the obverse you can see the hair lines in liberty's head, the word LIBERTY is all there in her crown, the cap and the flowers in it, and all the facial details. The reverse shows the eagle's feathers on the neck, wings, chest, legs, and tail with no losses. The coin is beautiful, shiny and has great eye appeal. These coins were designed by George T. Morgan and hence their name "Morgan Dollar". Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: 1881. Mint: Philadelphia. Size and weight: 26.73 gr
